Mobile woodfired pizza relief

Elevated Pie Co. started in March of 2020 when the pandemic hit the US and we noticed the food insecurities in the local community. We ordered a woodfired oven from Italy and bought an old farm truck and started feeding the community. Then in August of 2020- a historic derecho hit Cedar Rapids, Iowa and we were on our way with 500 pizzas within hours of the storm passing. The damage was devastating but we were able to feed some of the hardest hit communities that had nothing to spare. We quickly realized our calling while there in Cedar Rapids and have now fed over 4,000 free meals to those affected by a natural disaster including the 2021 tornado in Naperville, Illinois as well as the 2021 Mayfield, Kentucky tornado.
